bonniebeth001 22 Posted June 5, 2014 Hi ladies! I am here. Was sleeved on Friday the 30th. Still on liquids but I am always hungry!! I don't feel any restriction. Seems weird to me!! I am losing weight but I can drink just about anything!
momofthree123 7 Posted June 5, 2014 I have my 1 week post op today, 207 DOS and 194 this am ( yeah) . I think I'm going to puke if I look at Jello or chicken broth anymore. I need to move to the next stage! I get board very easily ( the Gemini in me). Hopefully today the doc will give me the ok. Still a little sour like I did a million sit-ups. That's about it. I'm happy so far outside of the limited food choices. What happened to the private FB page? I never got a request and was hoping for that as it's much easier to follow the threads and posts. A friend invited me to join on but there was over 2000 members, I didn't like that. I'm getting more from this small group on the same journey same time frame. Anyone else feel the same way? JenLyn03 1 Posted June 5, 2014 Please add me ☺️ I'm Jen from Florida I did six months with my NUT and was sleeved on 5/30 released on 6/1. On the Clear Liquids diet until 6/13, was able to start Protein Shakes 6/3. My post op appt is 6/12 with surgeon. I'm having trouble getting enough fluids in I have a constant full feeling ???? I've tried sleeping on my side with pillow and it's all good until I wake up with belly pain. Overall I feel good and am looking forward to this new life I've been given ???? Starting weight 282 Day of surgery 262 Weight on 6/4 235 Looking forward to this exciting journey with all of you brave people!
WhoKnows 288 Posted June 5, 2014 Things seem to be looking up. Still uncomfortable sleeping, but I can sort of sleep on my right side now, so that's an improvement! Mostly I'm just super tired. I wake up every day with the best of intentions to go out and walk, but I often end up feeling like I may pass out since I'm just so weak. But I'm getting in between 1.5 and 2 liters of liquid a day, and according to Cronometer, I'm averaging 450 calories and 65g of Protein (I wanna see if I can get that up to like 80 though). I'm definitely losing! A lot of it must be muscle from not moving much, but I can feel my clothes fitting differently. I was able to fit into some pants I haven't bothered trying for three years! So, here are my current stats: SW: 265 DS: 252 CW: 241 I can't complain

MiraNJ 11 Posted June 5, 2014 Hi All! Sleeved a week ago today. I've dropped 20 pounds since the start of my two week liquid diet. I feel fine, but struggling with Protein. Tried different types of Proteins but all are resulting in lots of gas and loose bowels. I try to avoid dairy so I did well straining a vegan pea Soup. I'm really wondering if it's the synthetic nature of the Protein mixes?? Staying hydrated, though.
lylabelle 257 Posted June 5, 2014 Don't forget that liquids in, liquids out! We won't be dealing with real solids for awhile. Someone's signature said "don't trust a fart" Lol so true 2 brownj15 and SingleMom33 reacted to this
