I just realized that's all I'm taking in a day. In between Protein Drinks and Water, I rarely eat any "real" food. Still on full liquids (and hating it).

Just making sure this is normal for someone 12 days post-op.

it really just depends on your surgeons plan! I can add in like yogurt and cottage cheese after 7 days of liquids but everyones plan and body is different. you are doing amazingly keep tracking your in vs. out and walk walk walk congrats and welcome to the losers bench i'll be there with you soon :)

Hi I agree with the above statements as long as you are following your doctors orders and drinking you will be fine, I am 15 days post opt and I was taking in between 300 -400 calories per day, I have not been tired and besides a little back pain I feel great. Good luck and as always if you still are concern contact your doctor.

I was right about 300-350 12 days post op too. I remember because I had the same wtf moment. Lol

I didn't start soft food for two weeks post op. Get your allotted Protein in and drink your Water and you should be fine

That was normal for me, but I focused on Protein and was getting at least 60 gm per day.

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

        Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
