O.K., So I'm feeling like I'm gonna need pads on hand for a looong time. I'm wearing 3xl (whitey tightys) with Tena pads flipped around and put in the rear. The only problem with that is it shifts around and is not always covering the "mark". I don't wan't to use "chuck" diapers because they're too hot and bulky between my legs and don't really fit around my waist too well.(and besides, who wants to wear a diaper??) I'm looking for something similar to the shape of the triangular Tena pad but with more coverage area(wider across the backside) on the Bum and without bunching up near the crotch, also better adhesive. I was thinking of trying to create a "Franken-liner" out of double sided tape and a cotton mattresss pad and or a 'chucks"( I've decided against it). HELP! Thank You for your ideas. Timmo

You might visit a specialty drug store that specifically caters to the elderly. Most medium size cities have one. They should have a wide range of items. Perhaps you can find what you are looking for there.

Hopefully as you lose weight, this will become a non-issue.

Have you tried taking Imodium to prevent this problem? When speaking with a Weight Loss surgeon about my fear of having this issue he said that some folks take Imodium every day and they don't have a problem.

Good luck!

S.

Timmo I so needed a chuckle today and love the "franken-liner". Thank you. I have exhausted my supply of pads with the same problem, and no longer have these issues so I am here to tell you it does get better. The biggest problem for me has been Constipation so that Immodium might be another problem. I used to think someone should invent a "cork" for this problem. You will get past this I promise. Women are known to be great at improvising and I know that you will come up with something good. I wish you the best!

Lindafromflorida

Several months after surgery, I developed a terrible problem with Constipation. Nothing worked. I finally stumbled into a simple cure. I eat one or two apples each night before bed and that solved the problem. But I had to eat the skins of the apple also for it to work. This technique has been working for me consistently for 6 months.

Thanks James, I have every kind of laxative known to man in this house. None of them worked. I just bought apples. I know what I will eat tonight! Congratulations on your progress!!!
