pjpanda 129 Posted June 25, 2014 I know I'm not eating enough, I'm just not hungry. Oh well, I may have to force myself to eat. The good news is I found out that Decaf iced tea is something my body loves to drink. I drink about 26 oz of it a day currently (and it counts as Water for me). I'm also looking into a gym to get my exersize in.

She said once our bodies get that basal or rock bottom amount of calories needed to function THEN our bodies will let the pounds go. I guess my body thinks I'm trying to kill it so it's in survival mode. My basal calorie intake was 1,300 before I lost any weight. I just have to keep reminding myself that this is a marathon if weight loss, not a sprint. BTW I have trouble getting my fluids in too. If I get fluids in then protien is low that day. If I eat better then my Fluid intake is low. Go figure!
gottagonow 82 Posted June 25, 2014 Since I know I'm not eating enough, when I do eat, it's always Protein. Deli meat and/or cheese. What a boring diet. Oh, I recently threw in some shrimp. My PA did not want me doing the Protein Drinks after my 4 weeks' visit and I do get 64 ounces of Water. At month three, they do a test to check on any Vitamin deficiencies and stuff, so I have some time for my body to adjust. I think the surgery shocked it. 1 rome reacted to this
rome 156 Posted June 25, 2014 PJ......I'm there with you! Not getting protein/water in like I should. I know this has to be a priority of mine as I'm sure I would be feeling a little more energetic than I am after 5 weeks. I also have to SLOW DOWN when I do eat! Tonight....not so good. Too fast and my tummy let me know by bringing it back up :-( Not something I want to happen on a regular basis!

Have you tried tuna? I even threw in a couple jalapeño slices with the fat free mayo. My tummy liked it
