I'm a Chipotle fan also. One of their burrito bowls is about 3-4 meals for me. I had it at about 10 weeks. I was on a soft diet till 8 weeks and I probly coulda eaten it without meat. My usual bowl is" Black Beans (no rice), chicken, lettuce, med salsa and pico de gallo, sour cream, cheese, and guac. Soooo yummy.

Lotso Protein in em (beans, meat, and cheese). Nothing wrong with a little Chipotle. If u don't eat the whole thing (and theres no way I can eat more than 1/3)

I LOVE Chipotle! Since being sleeved, I get a burrito bowl with chicken, black Beans, peppers, salsa, lettuce, and guacamole. I usually get it to go and put my own cheese and sour cream if I want it. It is about 3-4 meals for me too. It may be a while before you can tolerate the lettuce and peppers but I'm sure it would be delicious without them too!

I was on soft foods until 8 weeks too. I can't remember the first time I ate it after the sleeve but after you're cleared for solid food, it's really just trial and error to see what you can tolerate.

Love chipotle! You can also ask for just a side of chicken or sofritas or something and they give you a little plastic side container.

I did a bowl with chicken salsa cheese and guacamole about six weeks out. I still don't get Beans. Lettuce is still iffy with me a six weeks... Sometimes it's fine other times not.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
