Josh2xh 70 Posted June 13, 2014 How is the gas? You almost rid of it? How close are you to hitting your Protein and Water goals?
PowerUp 12 Posted June 13, 2014 Gas almost gone. Still a little pain in one shoulder. I really have to focus to slow down and not to gulp. Water goals are good. I can also down a Protein shake a day. Along with my gatric sleeve procedure, my surgeon also reduced the hiatal hernia I have.

It doesn't always go this well. I am 8 weeks out and it still takes me 30 to 45 minutes to down a Protein Shake.
PowerUp 12 Posted June 13, 2014 I feel extremely lucky. It's nice to know the swagger my surgeon had in his abilities matched reality. I hope things go similarly well for you guys with surgery coming up.
mt_hi_liner 21 Posted June 17, 2014 Hope so. I have surgery in 2 days and am getting nervous. 46 years old and never have had a surgery since I was a baby. Wonder how many people have thoughts of backing out? I won't but can't say it hasn't crossed my mind.
nukleus1911 2 Posted June 28, 2014 I'm on day three post op. The sleeve was a success. I am not in a lot of pain but I am taking my pain med religiously. In the hospital the biggest issue was passing gas and having a bowel movement. This happened 48hrs later. I can say I don't regret anything and just walking half a mile today felt great. My only issue is that my fingers are still numb. I'll keep you posted on my progress.
