peggy n 20 Posted May 27, 2014 Am five years post banding and after three years, I reached my goal weight of 172 lbs. (can I have a round of applause, please? Go ahead, I'll wait!) while that may sound heavy still to some,it is the goal set by my physician and local WW leader. I lost over 170 pounds and am working hard to keep it off. My skin looks like the dog, Beethovan, with his head out a car window, but that is why I dress strategically . The surgery was the tool I needed to become healthier and more active. I no longer need blood pressure medication! I can Water ski again, I love my kick boxing and spinning .,just being able to go into a room without looking for a safe place to sit is a blessing in itself! I thank you all for the support and help along the way. Peg 8 TimeforTanya, 2muchfun, LL112 and 5 others reacted to this

I joined weight watchers (again!) to have the accountability of a weekly weigh in. That really helped me have a specific, measure of my progress or lack of. Keep me posted.
