Hi guys I know this is a really gross topic lol. But ever since I had the surgery which was 2 weeks ago tomorrow, all I do is spit. I seem to have a ton of mucus in my mouth so, whenever I drink anything it eventually comes back up. I mean it's so bad that I run through at least 3 Water bottles full of just spit and sometimes acid. Is this normal ? Is anyone else experiencing this ? I showed my surgeon and he looked at it as if everything is okay and I hate it :(. HELP PLEASEEE !

I spit a lot when I have reached 'full'. Are you sure that you aren't drinking too fast or too much in one sitting? When I reach over capacity for 'baby', that's what I call my pouch, I get very mucousy and spitty. Try sipping and taking it slow. If that doesn't work, then be persistent with your doctor to find out what the problem is.

Extreme mucous is the slimies. You went too fast and either too much, past full, not chewed enough or a texture you can't handle. I get this way still at 7 weeks from chicken or broccoli or not chewed well food, just not ready for them

I had this same exact issue. It was sp had that I had to constantly have a spit cup with me wherever I went because saliva was ALWAYS coming up. What I can tell you is that it will pass I promise you. I was about a month and a half out before it stopped all the way thank god lol. But I understand how you are feeling but jst know it does stop eventually ! :) :) just keep looking forward it only gets better from here !!

It's also possible to have nausea without actually feeling like you're going to vomit; that'll make you produce tons of extra saliva......that watery mouth syndrome.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
