What is in your Protein Bars?

How much carbs and how much sugar?

I use Quest Protein Bars. They are made with Stevia. They come in many flavors. High in Fiber, low sugar, gluten free, no GMO. 20 or 21 grams of protein.

I also use Jay Robb whey Protein Powder for make my shakes. They are very good tasting and they are smooth. They are made with Stevia. Come in chocolate, vanilla, strawberry or one or two other flavors. 25 grams of protein in each serving.

sugar free almond milk works well with the protein powder and it adds more protein to the shake.< /p>

I also use Torani sugar free syrups in my Protein Shakes. They are made with Splenda and come in many, many flavors.

Quest Bars can be bought from GNC, directly from the company, Amazon, or eBay.

Jay Robb can be bought at a Whole Foods or I buy it from Amazon.

Torani sugar free syrups can be bought directly from the company or World Market if you have one in your area.

Good luck wit your upcoming surgery.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
