BandedBrunette481 310 Posted May 26, 2014 My doctor said I was fine to do ab workouts at my 6 week post op visit, but it hurt where my port is attached to my muscles. So just go slow and listen to your body! I'm a little over 3 months post op now and my port area is sore for days when I work out my abs still.
