Does anyone feel the same 2 months out as you did 3 and half weeks out? Please tell me this awful feeling passes.

Depends on what awful feeling you are talking about - but I felt pretty normal at 2 mos. At three mos. I felt like I was on top of the world!

Totally different, but a new set of challenges. At 3 1/2 weeks, I was still recovering from surgery, so my energy was low or I would tire after spurts of activity and I was sore beneath my incisions. I was on thick liquid diet and already bored, but could not have eaten the solid foods that I thought that I wanted. I was just starting to see changes in my size, and even that was not fast enough.

At ten weeks out, I've bagged and boxed 2 sizes of clothes, to ship out and never see again. I still struggle with food choices. At a conference this week, all meals were buffet style with lots of choices, and I wanted to try them all. I made myself miserable the first day but relearned the lesson that less is more. At this point, I don't think any foods are out because of the surgery and how my body would process them, but there are obviously better and worse choices. Quantity of food is significantly different than my past life, more in quantity than I could take in at 3 1/2 weeks, but not much, and I do not plan to stretch my sleeve. I would estimate that my max capacity is 4 oz of food at a setting, and that would make me full to uncomfortable for a long while.

At this point, I no longer have physical restrictions, but I'm currently not in a set physical program. I know this will be key to accomplish my goals, but I struggle with getting started.

This was a good question. If I can give any advice, it would be to please regard this as a changing process with many phases which will pass. Keep focused on your long-term goals. For me that is longer life in better health.

I am 4.5 months out, although i dont feel great and have days where i just fell unwell, its not as bad as 3 1/2 weeks. People say it gets better and easier i just want to know when it will for me. You are not alone in the way you feel not all of us had text book surgeries and we know how hard it is

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
