mariavg 154 Posted May 28, 2014 Ladies first off congratulations on the best decision of your life. I have to say to everyone the first 5 days are the hardest and everyday after that it gets a little better . It took me 6 weeks to starting feeling like myself again and with a little energy . Also I stopped taking those awful pain meds on day 4. They made me feel like I couldn't think straight and after I stopped taking them it took a week for them to get out of my system and I was sick to my stomach and nausea everyday . That being said I'm 5 months out and down 77.5 pounds and went from a size 22/24 to a 12/14 and I couldn't be happier . My life is so much better and yours will be too. Just take it easy and one day at time .

I'm on Protein based liquids per my doctor - move to full liquid tomorrow yay! So far today I've done 24 oz liquid and 23 grams protein (about 1/3rd where my dr wants me at daily) 2 Pelicanlady and mtchick reacted to this

kclaws 151 Posted May 29, 2014 Yes it does! I'm 7 weeks post op and I feel good! Hurts a bit if I eat too fast and my stomach still makes very weird noises but that's about it! Hang in there!
