Don't let any one tell you they don't sneak a piece of cake, drink a soda (ok I haven't), used a straw (me either), or drank less than a 1/2 hour or 1 hour after eating (I'm guilty). LOL It is OK to fail. What is NOT ok is not trying to get back up. That's what we're here for - and everyone else.
