guns n roses 0 Posted April 16, 2007 Hi, stumbled upon this web site the day before my first post op support group and got most of my numerous questions answered. This is a wonderful site. Lost 16 post and 6 pre op. 30 min cardio each day and sticking to the diet pretty well. I read here that this is the time when i am "ON MY OWN"--first fill 5/3/07. I guess I am testing the waters now since I've been on solids for 1 wk. My caloric intake had increased from about 800 to 1200 in the past three days, IS THIS THE TIME I NEED TO BE MORE VIGILANT??? also read here that these back and shoulder pains are from the anestesia (sp). 4 1/2 wks later, when will they go away? HelenC 0 Posted April 16, 2007 Yes, you definitely need to be more vigilant right now. Remember that even with no fill, you're still supposed to be eating small amounts. It's ok to have yogurt or something between meals to help with the hunger, but try to keep a grip on how much you're eating. As far as the pains, I don't personally know, I didn't get any at all. TracyinKS 7 Posted April 16, 2007 You are in what is LOVINGLY called......... Bandster Hell! LOL the time after surgery and before your first fill! The first 6 weeks are for healing, but also you need to stick to your docs plan so that those stitches can heal around your new band.
