newbody2014 7 Posted May 20, 2014 I have surgery the same day. I bought woman's mega liquid vitamins from GNC along with a liquid B12 and a dissolvable bitotin that goes under your tongue. And a chewable Vitamin D from the Unjury site advertised on here. Hope that helps. 1 Nancy E. reacted to this

As for the b12, my dr called me in a b12 nasal spray that is for weekly use.

Does it have that chalky feel on your teeth an in ur mouth? They are a litle sweet / funky tasting but inexpensive - once you get used to them they are not bad and it's just a few seconds each day. These were ok'd & recomended by my NUT. She said I could buy more expensive ones but that they have the same Vitamins and minerals in them.

LindafromFlorida 1,542 Posted May 20, 2014 I think having the WLS requires me to take a good Vitamin and I won't skimp because of cost. I have a friend who is a compound pharmacist and one other person who recommended Source of Life Liquid Gold. One bottle (huge), lasted me ?4 months. It cost me $52 but is about $40 on vitacost with free shipping. My bloodwork (labs) has been excellent. Please make sure you take excellent Vitamins whatever you choose. Also I have taken the Biotin religiously, and at 5 and 6 months post sleeve my hair is still coming out in handfuls. Best of luck everyone! 1 moonlitestarbrite reacted to this
par1959 470 Posted May 20, 2014 I have surgery June 3 and need to go buy Vitamins wondering where some people got theirs I don't want to spend a lot. Thanks in advance I have surgery on the 28th. Just had my last console. All they care about for the first month is that I sip Water. Eating and vitimins are optional. Yes, you want to do those things but healing and not throwing up are the most important. As my nut said 30 days with just staying hydrated wont hurt you.
