We're going to need a lot more information than what you've provided? Why are you not losing? Most people know why or suspect they know why?

What do you eat? A typical daily meal would be good to know?

How much did you weigh?

How much now?

How many fills and are you in the green zone?

What does your doctor or nutritionist say?

Do you exercise?

Do you count calories and how many do you consume a day?

I weighted 217 when I had my surgery. I'm now 190. I go to the gym for two hours 4 days a week. I do cardio and strength training. I also walk a lot. I don't count calories but I try and sick to three meals a day. If im starving then I have a snack. My Dailey meal plains looks something like this:

Greek yogurt plan with maybe a banana or a Protein shake with kale.

A salad with grilled chicken or maybe a turkey chili or left overs from dinner. Or a Kale shake.< /p>

dinner is 4 oz of Protein and a green veggie if I have room.

I have an appoint with my dr this Friday! I'm just so disappointed I thought I would have done better!

A consult with a nutritionist seems to be in order? You should be losing 6+ lbs a month. Do your clothes fit looser? Are you hungry between meals?

my doctor does not want me losing more than a pound a week but I'm having the same problem. I am not losing anymore either I was banded Dec 2012. Starting weight 289 now between. 205-210. I am very limited on exercise due to disability but I walk with a cane and do not use a scooter anymore . I know if I could lose at least 15 lbs I'd be able to walk more. I DO count calories. I eat 1200-1400 tops sometimes less than 1200. I am going to be running the N. Brevard County, FL

bariatric pal support group so hopefully that will help .

I was banded last July as well. I've lost maybe 65 lbs since the surgery. I lost 60 lbs before on my own. I'm kind of stuck myself. I was at 230 forever. I just couldn't break 230. Now I'm 228 since I really have focused on exercise and it seems to be happening for me. I really thought I'd be at 200 by now. It seems like you're exercising plenty. When I feel like I'm hungrier than I should be I get a fill. Due for another now. Talk to your doctor. Write down what you are eating and show him, he'll have some advice for sure. Good Luck!!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
