Pain in my left side 4 years post op. Anyone else?

I am 4 years post op- I have really intense pains in my left side(port area), but only after I eat. They last for 30 minutes or so, then go away.

No idea if you are having same problem as me - but worth looking into. I have been having episodes of pain at my port site for years now. About 18 months ago had gall bladder removed but pain continued. After ultrasound of abdominal wall they have finally discovered a hernia in abdo wall as a result of incision. Apparently very rare but am booked in for surgery to repair the tear in May. Hopefully the pain will finally be gone for good. Good luck and I hope you get to the bottom of your pain.
