I was banded on May 9th. Everything has been good. No issues, except that I'm freezing most of the time. Hands and feet are like ice. I can't get warm. It's not cold here. No one else is cold. I wake up shivering at night. I've never been cold this this before. Any ideas?

Since you are 50, Im guessing this has to do with menopause , maybe ?? ( Im 55) . Ive been overly warm for several years, then tried "Estroven" a product designed for hot flashes. I cooled waaaay down, stopped taking it, and have returned to way less hot flashes than before. Try wearing a warm hat and fingerless gloves inside and outside, a light scarf around your neck, plus light layers all the time. This really helps me balance my body temp. Good luck !

I also found since being banded and losing weight (and extra skin) I also REALLY feel the cold... especially in my fingers and toes.

Right after surgery I was freezing a lot. I would have a sweater on and be under my comforter and still be cold. I think it was my bodies way of dealing with he surgery and drastic weight loss. I still get really cold at certain times but it is more under control now that I am 7 weeks out. Good luck and stay bundled up.
