747heavy 10 Posted May 18, 2014 Had my band installed on April 1 and have been following 800-1000 cal and 100 g Protein, got my first fill at standford using flourascope (x-ray) was able to see the position of my band and watch as my Dr added 5cc of saline. Was given a numbing shot for the port and then he gets a needle that is 5" long and inserts in the port and left it there while I walked over to the x-ray, a little unnerving but no pain what so ever. I am down 65# and have 32# to go. very little restriction noted after fill ,staying with liquids for 5 days. 1 2muchfun reacted to this
