hgielrehtaeh 0 Posted May 17, 2014 (edited) May 6 surgery date. I just weighed again and since Tuesday I've lost 1 lb. 1 lb in 5 days. And I am following doctor's orders 100%. And I'm terrified I've poor myself through all this for nothing. How the hell am I eating basically nothing and not losing weight? RobynPlus2 3 Posted May 17, 2014 I am feeling the same way I got my Surgery May 8 I lost 15 lbs but the last 2 days I haven't lost anything im super stressed about it
James Marusek 5,244 Posted May 17, 2014 Stalls appear to be fairly common after surgery. Mine occurred half way through the weight loss. For some they encounter 3 or 4 stalls on their weight loss journey. Try not to get super stressed out but just stay with the program. 1 RNBSN786 reacted to this

Losses occur throughout the week, two week and monthly periods but your weight will fluctuate from day to day. You are both just fresh out of surgery....give it time to settle because you are still going to be holding on to a lot of Fluid. And the body is still in shock mode. As long as you are compliant with what you team have told you to do, you cannot fail to lose weight. You'll get there... I just 6 days postoperative and won't get on a scale for at least 3 weeks per the doctor. The only thing we should be focused on his proper intake Protein and Water this early. Hang in there I'm sure in 2 months were going to be shocked at the loss. It didn't come on overnight. All the best. 1 RNBSN786 reacted to this

I was really hoping for more but I also lost 13 pounds on my 2 week pre op diet. I happy with 21 pounds in 3 weeks. I'm gonna try hard not to let the number on the scale get to me!! I agree, I've decided that I will only weigh myself every 2 weeks, the scale will play head games with you! I weighed this week (1 week out) because I had a 1 week follow up appointment. Next weigh in is 2 weeks from now. 1 SnowDaisy reacted to this
