Well if your on full liquids you should handle Protein Shakes, pudding and yogurt fine. Are you on any Prilosec or any acid pills? Those help the discomfort of food hitting your stomach.

Staying on full liquids sound like good advice. Regarding the popcorn I had a similar issue last week. I went to a movie and knew the popcorn would trigger me so I had my husband get me a small cup of ice. It worked great at distracting me and I suddenly realized I was really thirsty!
