pain meds help

I am 2 days post-op and cannot keep pain meds down. I can only stomach Water and Apple juice. Dr prescribed me Tylenol 3. Can't even swallow when it's crushed. Help.

Call your doc and let him/her know. Maybe they can prescribe you a liquid pain med. Best of luck! Hang in there, things do get better. :-)

I took nothing after day 2.. Nothing because of the same problem I would throw it back up. I found that I did ok without anything.

I used liquid Tylenol postOp when the pills were hard to swallow. It didn't pack the same punch as Tylenol 3, but it was better than nothing.

My doc has already given me the liquid Tylenol 3 in preparation. Can you get that?
