James Marusek 5,244 Posted May 16, 2014 I am not sure what is going on. This is not a typical reaction. Might be a urinary tract infection in which case maybe cranberry juice (without process sugar) might help.
Blue614 133 Posted May 16, 2014 I do believe that is due to the catheter you had in you, it will get better.
hass 5 Posted May 17, 2014 Hope so but it was for a day only I removed it as soon as I got in my feet. I told my doctor or don't need one but still he inserted it. I had such a fuss about it.

Jessica.O 47 Posted August 5, 2014 Hass- did you remove it yourself?? I hope not. Those catheters have a balloon on the end that is in your bladder. It is inflated with saline after placement to keep it from falling out. You could have done some physical damage to your "parts" if that wasn't deflated before removal. Imagine pulling a grape through a coffee straw....

GODSON 20 Posted August 15, 2014 Well im glad I didnt get one. It was my only concern about the surgery. Come surgery day I wished I had it. I didnt know anesthesia wouldnt let me pee at all. Bladder was backed up like crazy. Pain of needing to pee without being able to... top 15 I have experienced. Luckly my room was finally available ,and thank god it was a private room. Gravity was my friend. How ironic. Thinking back im still glad I didnt get one.
