StayingStrong 78 Posted May 16, 2014 UGH yah, I remember that! First week. It's a cruel joke. Pretty common. 1 rajashri patil reacted to this
WhoKnows 288 Posted May 16, 2014 I'm terrified of this. I get hiccups a lot already...
ad1203 85 Posted May 16, 2014 I had surgery last week and I had the hiccups a lot the first week. Not so much the last couple of days. I guess it is normal, just annoying.
angie0187 24 Posted May 16, 2014 Very annoying because of the discomfort it causes in the throat and stomach
rebecca61885 35 Posted May 17, 2014 My doctor said it's from eating too much or eating too fast. It really happened to me a TON at first. I was still learning and adjusting to what amount I could have and the slow eating. It gets way better though so don't worry!
angelita85 0 Posted May 17, 2014 I had terrible hiccups the first two days. I know mine was not from drinking to fast. I barely ever had any fluids due to the severe pain. I gets better I'm 7 days post op now.
