BlondeBanshee 91 Posted May 14, 2014 I am @12 weeks out, down @52lbs. Where is the burst of energy! I am so tired, I have zero energy! I am getting in my Protein, hydration, B12...I feel so drained! My thyroid numbers are supposedly normal, I am 52, I am menopausal, anyone have some insight or suggestions of what I should try.
LumpySpacePrincess 594 Posted May 14, 2014 I'd say its pretty normal. I was exhausted until about 4 months out. It gets better!
JeanZ_RN 378 Posted May 14, 2014 How long have you been so exhausted? Has it been this way ever since surgery? How long has it been since you were checked for anemia? Are you including any red meat in your diet?
BlondeBanshee 91 Posted May 14, 2014 Forgot to mention, I am vegetarian BUT I am eating fish, eggs and dairy. Yes, I have been exhausted since surgery, I am not anemic.
NewSetOfCurves 1,553 Posted May 14, 2014 You need to add more complex carbs to your diet. That is your bodies primary source of fuel. If you search "complex carbohydrate foods" you can find of list of foods you can choose from to incorporate into your diet.
