Recommended Posts

I have summer clothes..2pairs of crops and 4 tops for someone who needs them. They are from Catherine's and the Avenue stores.

I'm in Baltimore. I'm willing to meet you in DE, southern PA, or DC metro.

I also have some Bariatric Advantage chewable Calcium and vanilla Vitamins for free.

I will also have a selection of size 28 turtleneck rubbed sweaters from LB also.

Thank you.

Hello Luka,

I have some 5X and 28, 30 and 32's also. I'm wondering since no one replied to you if you found another way to get rid of your clothes? I'm still in a 4X but hoping after another 20 - 40 lbs I'll be back into my closet full of 3X and 24's.

Keep up the great work. Looks like you are doing fantastic!

Carol

Hi Carol, I actually posted them to Craig's list and someone contacted me 10 minutes later to claim them. I wasn't looking for money I just wanted to get them out of the house.

Another option is to donate them to one of the abused women shelters. The women there usually show up with only the clothes on their backs And finding larger sizes can be impossible. I was contacted by one right after someone claimed them and I wished I had thought to donate them there again. Good luck!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
