pregnancy after lap band

Has anyone been pregnant with the lap band. I am 14wks and the nurse is saying that I should have all of my Fluid removed to ensure that the baby receives proper nutrition. I got the band in August 2013, but I can eat just about anything. With the exception of thick break and pork. I don't really see the need for me to start all over after the preganancy. Is there anything else that I should be concerned about?
