Hunger pains

I am on the Post-op two week full liquid diet. I sip slowly and stick to what I can have, usually opting for a high Protein Drink. I get hunger pangs at all hours of the night and day! Is it because I am sipping slowly? My drink has 16g of Protein.

How much Protein are you drinking a day? And are you drinking thicker drinks or watery? The first couple weeks of post op are difficult. You will get hungry. I was miserable and begged the doctor to let me eat. Just hang in there because it's all worth it in the end

I am Starving today! !!!!! I was just about to make my own post just like yours I've been eating applesauce and Jello all day. And that scares me bc no matter how many of those little cups I keep eating nothing is making my stomach stop growling! I only drank 2 Protein Drinks today. I didn't realize that could be the reason. I'll go make one now yikes!!!
