Cindi2014 57 Posted May 8, 2014 I called Dr. Fielding's office and they said to take Tylenol and call back if it hits 101. I'm worried about it being an infection of some sort. I just want to feel better already. Had surgery on Monday and still feeling really sore and generally weak.
chasingadream 1,311 Posted May 8, 2014 You contacted your doctor and that was great! Follow their directions they know what they are doing…I've heard lots of great things about your doctor. Try and rest AND RELAX!
Cindi2014 57 Posted May 8, 2014 Thank you. He is a wonderful doctor and I'm trying hard to just stay relaxed and calm. It's hard to get all the liquids in too because I have no appetite whatsoever. I refuse to take any pain meds during the day, only at night if I need it.

jesabuck30 16 Posted May 9, 2014 I am 4 weeks out and have had a fever almost daily off and on.... It was 100 earlier tonight and now is normal without Meds. I was seen 4/28 and had labs and urinalysis without a finding! I have read that sometimes when your body is burning fat it can cause body temp fluctuations, but I don't know how true this is but I am freaking out with this on off temp for a month.....Hmmmm

RedStorm 139 Posted May 9, 2014 I ran a fever around 100 for almost a week. I think it was just the way my body handled major surgery and healing. I took my temp quite often just to make sure it did not get to 101 and drank plenty of fluids. Good luck and monitor your temp often. 1 Cindi2014 reacted to this
