I would be quite happy with a size 6.

6-10 because I like curves!

A size 10 would be ideal... I'd be happy as a 12 though.

A 10 is what I've always wanted.

Size 10-12 feels just right for me. Nice staying the same size as clothes fit as long as I choose to wear them

Yes I saved one giant pair of stretchy size 22. Just to never forget from whence I came????

I'm a 10-12 right now, but would love to be an 8. I look trim at a size 8. Plus I'm pushing 50, so I want to be realistic! :P

I was a size 24 pant and 2x shirt. 2 weeks after surgery and I'm in a 1x shirt and 18 pant. I would love to get down to a 7/9 or med. I'm 5'3 so my goal weight is 120. We will see though.

It's do-able. I was a 24 pant and a 4X top at my heaviest, and now I wear a size 6P pant, size PS or PM top..and in better dresses, mostly 10P. I've no idea what size dress I would have worn at my heaviest...I stopped wearing dresses at size 20.

I would love to hit a size a size 10. I'm just starting my process at a size 22/24.

Yeah. Size 10....

At 5'8", my initial goal was a size 12. I started at a size 22. I have been at my goal weight for over a year and a size 10/M. Totally happy where I'm at and love my wardrobe!!

I have a lot of size 8s from before I got pregnant. I'm hoping to get back to these clothes, even though they are probably out of style by now! Size 8 is where I want to be.

Lol. What year did you get pregnant? Sizing has changed so much over the years! I discovered a few boxes of clothes in my attic of clothes from high school and clothes before I had kids (circa 1980's and 90's). I'm wearing a modern size 8. I can squeeze in some size 6 clothes. I cannot squeeze in many of the size 12 pants I have from high school!!!! Modern sizes now include 00 and 0 so everything seems to have gone up. Darn variety sizing! I also think the cut of things is to blame. Things were all high waisted in the 80's and 90's! My waist isn't as small as it once was before kids!

Size 6 is perfect for me!!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
