8 - 10 would be perfect for me. I doubt that I'll see that small though.

I would love to be in a size 8. I am 5' 8.5", so an average to tall height. Currently in a 14.

Size 10, depends on one's frame...one woman may prefer a size 10, another size 8 or 12 depending on one's frame. Health is what we need to be focusing on ladies, not dress sizes. It is what is inside that counts, let's remember this.

I'm thinking a 12 right now, although I could go lower than that maybe. Hard to conceive of anything lower than that!

Ideal would be 6/8. That said, if I were in a 10/12 I would be beside myself with joy!!! Still pre-op so that seems unimaginably far away right now.

I'd be happy with a size 10. I never had surgery to be skinny, I did it to get to a healthy weight and size.

I never thought I would ever get to a point where I could even think about this. I started at a 24 pants and 26/28 top. I am 5' 11". I just purchased a size 16 pants and was shocked when I could actually wear them

Given I have another 72lbs I would like to lose, I could actuallt see myself in an 8!

I did go to Victoria's Secret this week and purchased two new gorgeous bras as incentive to continue losing weight. I need to lose probably another 20lbs before they will fit me comfortably.

I have never ever stepped into a Victoria's secret store in my life! Pretty things were not for me before. Now, I love to just go shopping and try new clothes on.

Congrats! That is great! I recently asked my doc when do we start believing? Even though it's working there is still that disbelief that it will continue

I am pre surgery a size 20. My ultimate goal would be a 8/10 post surgery. Any smaller and I wouldn't mind either. I can't even fathom being a size that's not a double digit!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
