DaddyMarie 291 Posted May 8, 2014 (edited) (Sort that would be POST OP. Fat fingers and morphine don't mix! Lol!!!) Made it to the other side!!! Had my surgery yesterday morning at 9am. Horrible gas pains were my only problem. It all settled under my ribs. Morpheme helped! Big time! It's early Thursday morning and I'm feeling better my the hour. I'm so excited to be here! No regrets just positive goals! Edited May 8, 2014 by DaddyMarie 1 honeybunz reacted to this

JulieRae1958 11 Posted May 10, 2014 I had my surgery on May 7th also. Bad gas pains under ribs the first two days, but have been able to get alot out last night. Still feeling gas pains, but much less severe. I have no trouble sipping Water and no nausea, so I feel extremely fortunate. I lost 8-pounds during my 1-week clear liquid diet prior to the surgery. I weighed myself this morning and am down another 5-lbs! Havin trouble eating regularly; I have absolutely no appetite at this point; I tried a Protein drink and could only drink a few sips. I've also tried cream of wheat made with milk and didn't have any trouble with that, but I forgot to add the Protein powder to it. This is a whole new 'normal', and it will take me a few days to get used to the routine.
