jadabobada87 1 Posted May 8, 2014 Hi guys I'm new here and absolutely love this site! I was sleeved on april 14th so I'm about 3 and a half weeks post op on the puree stage now. Down 25 lbs. I'm a little worried because sometimes I don't get that full "feeling" with certain foods and get super full real quick with other foods. Depending on what I'm eating I can definitely put in more than 2 oz. It scares me because I'm still learning to be aware of what and how much I eat. Is this normal though, not "feeling" full with some foods? Thanks! 1 Denise73 reacted to this
SparkleCat 521 Posted May 8, 2014 I had the surgery April 22 and really have yet to feel "full". I stop eating because I feel I should, not because I feel I have to. No hunger, but no real signs of full. I just started purée, not sure if this will change once I get soft food I'm eating 400-650 calories per day...which seems high. I wish I had the infamous sneeze, hiccup or burp that others seem to get
essence377 5 Posted May 8, 2014 Try thicker foods like refried Beans. Also the drinking rule is very pertinent on whether you feel full or not. But yes, I'm 3 months out and I've learned which foods will keep me full longer, etc 1 Denise73 reacted to this
jadabobada87 1 Posted May 8, 2014 I get the hiccups, loud ones too! But sometimes I feel like it takes a while and more than 2 oz to get there. I don't intentionally eat til the hiccups come, like I said still learning the "you should stop eating now" mindset. Slowly getting there :/
jadabobada87 1 Posted May 8, 2014 Thanks! I Will try those. Been eating a lot of Soups and yogurt.
essence377 5 Posted May 8, 2014 The hiccups will go away. I had a tough first month so I learned to be patient. Maybe gas drops will help!
