cherrytree15 78 Posted May 8, 2014 Hello all, I would like to know from post ops, what helped you through your first couple of weeks. I know everyone is different. I know taste buds etc change but my surgery is in two weeks an I want to be prepared. I don't want to buy too much so that it is wasted but I want to by enough so that I can try things that may satisfy me (best Protein Shakes, bars, etc.). would also like to know if I should buy compression socks, a certain type of clothing like sweat pants, etc. all info is appreciated. mollz007 60 Posted May 8, 2014 Bottled Water (tap water tastes nasty to me,) crystal light, sugar free jello/yogurt/popsicles, greek yogurt, chicken broth, your favorite tea bags (some people tolerate warm water better).
