First couple of weeks

Hello all, I would like to know from post ops, what helped you through your first couple of weeks. I know everyone is different. I know taste buds etc change but my surgery is in two weeks an I want to be prepared. I don't want to buy too much so that it is wasted but I want to by enough so that I can try things that may satisfy me (best Protein Shakes, bars, etc.). would also like to know if I should buy compression socks, a certain type of clothing like sweat pants, etc. all info is appreciated. Thanks guys. Learning from others is the best way.

Bottled Water (tap water tastes nasty to me,) crystal light, sugar free jello/yogurt/popsicles, greek yogurt, chicken broth, your favorite tea bags (some people tolerate warm water better).       Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

        Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
