ninan 16 Posted May 8, 2014 Hello All, I was sleeved on Monday and developed a sore throat soon after. Also, having trouble getting liquids down and home on oxygen. Hoping to turn the corner soon. Any encouragement would me much appreciated. Nina 1 BeagleLover reacted to this

Just do the best you can. Congratulations, you did it! 1 ninan reacted to this

My surgeon said it was from the breathing tube down my throat during surgery and the scope they put down to check everything before they wake you up. I am also having trouble getting all my liquids in - my chest and stomach feel very full. Have you tried sugar free Popsicles or warm broth? That helps me a little bit. Looking forward to healing and not being sore.
