hope1212 3 Posted May 7, 2014 Anyone out there have buyers remorse? I am second guessing myself, my decision and I am driving myself crazy. I feel lucky as I am 5 days post opt and have no pain am drinking enough to stay hydrated. I keep questioning if I am always going to feel dehydrated for the rest of my life ? Am I ever going to eat again? What have I done to myself? Did I take the easy way out? Did I try hard enough? 2 JulieRae1958 and ProudGrammy reacted to this
LumpySpacePrincess 594 Posted May 7, 2014 Totally normal! At a month out, you'll be telling people this was the best thing you've ever done! Its scary at first, but wonderful as the months go on. 3 ProudGrammy, hope1212 and Terribj reacted to this
Susan Beckman 16 Posted May 7, 2014 Totally understand. I am 6 weeks out and I have felt that way since surgery. MAJOR regrets!!! Had so many complications. Now that feeling is starting to go away because i am getting on track and feel a little better. I have lost almost 60 pounds and my clothes are way toooooo big, down 12 sizes. I am now seeing a change but still have a hard time with seeing the fat me and not the smaller me. Just hang in there, once you start feeling better and get further along I think you will see things differently. 1 hope1212 reacted to this
Andrew0929 1,101 Posted May 7, 2014 In time your regrets will fade. I had internal bleeding and a second surgery 5 days post op and told my surgeon I had major regrets about being sleeved. His response was that he was going to ask me the same question in 3 months . He was right ... I'm so thankful I was sleeved. 1 hope1212 reacted to this
