awold0 246 Posted May 7, 2014 Yes I am 10 months post op sleeve. I started having symtoms around 7 months. I had mine out in Feb. Besides being irritated of having to have another surgery and co pay ( 3,800 ) it was a breese. I was in and out same day. I worried about it and really it was nothing compared to the wls. I was down for about a week laying around. I have had no issues with food or bathroon issues. I do take a probiotic and I am very regualar. They say your diet should be lean and not a lot of fat and fried food which with our tool we don't eat that anyway so really not any differance for me. Good luck and wish you a speedy recovery. rome 156 Posted May 12, 2014 My surgeon told me that the percentage of people that lose a large amount of weight usually have their gallbladder out at some point...usually by 6 months after surgery or so. Because the risk is high for this happening, I'm having mine out at the same time as I am sleeved. Kill two birds with one stone having one recovery period. Surgeon said that he foresees in the not too distant future that this will become a part of the procedure because of the high rate of incident of it occuring after the procedure. moveandgroove 67 Posted May 12, 2014 I am also 10 months out - started having pains in my back around 7 month. Took awhile to get diagnosed as I was having most of the pain in my back. Then started getting in my front right side. Anyways - just had my gallbladder out last week. At home for one more week and then back to work. Not having any issues with this surgery. In and out the same day.
