thinMints 3 Posted May 6, 2014 I had surgery on April 30. For some reason I am not hungry. I have been trying to get at least the Water in. On yesterday I ate 2 chicken mc nuggets and I chewed and chewed and chewed because it was the closet thing I could get to Protein. I pray that I have not messed up because I really wNt this to work. Under the circumstances that was the only thing I could get in because of other issues I'm dealing with. Today I'm doing much better back at home and not so stressed. I was able to get a Protein Drink in and so far that is all. No criticisms please I already feel horrible.

Second, it's ok you ate mcnuggets and moving forward I would stick to the diet and have your Protein Shakes and liquid diet. Drink water and diet drinks and no carbonation. You did not stretch your pouch but to prevent it from having it in the long run follow what your doc says. I had my surgery on march 31 and left the hospital on April 3. So I started my liquid diet the minute I walked out of the hospital and stayed on it until April 13. liquids were hard to get it down but I made sure I did what the doc said and had my chewable vitamins. Also with hunger it's common not to feel hungry and I still feel that way. I am not hungry much and my taste buds have also changed. Anyways mistakes happen and now stick to what the doc says. Best of luck! 1 Abigail13 reacted to this
thinMints 3 Posted May 6, 2014 Thanks RNBSN786...I'm back on the right trail now. Though it's still hard for me to get 32 ounces in I'm going to put my best foot forward. Thanks for the encouragement and best of luck to u!
CraveUrBrains 12 Posted May 8, 2014 I'm worried about this I had the sleeve March 3rd and it seems like I've been able to eat more than I used too. I haven't been perfect, I've overeaten and cheated with some carbonated drinks. But it hasn't been everyday, not even once a week. I just feel like 2 months surgerversity isn't long enough to stretch my pouch.

CraveUrBrains 12 Posted May 15, 2014 Lol I feel like if you let it sit in your mouth for a bit and let it lose the carbonation it's not too bad
