joseainoa 13 Posted May 6, 2014 Im scheduled tomorrow 5/7 at 930AM but im so scared to have my surgery aborted due to an enlarged liver like i have heard it happening to so many people. My highest weight was last December 339 and today im 304, have lost 35 lbs since then most of it coming within the past 2 1/2 months . Any suggestions to calm me down? Will i be ok? Anyone have any experiences to share?
BigGirlPanties 957 Posted May 6, 2014 have you been on a liquid diet? they usually put you on that two weeks or so prior... so that helped reduce the size of the liver...if you have lost weight, then you will probably be ok... some doctors don't even require it...so relax 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this

biggietosmaller 29 Posted May 6, 2014 Relax!!! Don't worry about something you can't change by tomirrow. Trust that you have done your part and things will work out either way. If it does not happen tomorrow, there maybe a good reason. If you can't shake this worry, call your surgeon's office, they may be able to helo ease your worry. 3 LeAnne B, Recycled and ProudGrammy reacted to this
LindafromFlorida 1,542 Posted May 6, 2014 We were all nervous. Only you can calm yourself down. Get busy and distract yourself. Clean your closet (I did lol!). I was 30 minutes from the OR and they were deciding I if I was too dehydrated. God is in control. You will be fine. God Bless! 3 BigGirlPanties, Nevermind and ProudGrammy reacted to this

thepearl32 1 Posted May 6, 2014 Hello Jose, I am going in tomorrow at 930 AM as well. I agree with everyone here...relax and keep calm. You do not need to be going into a surgery day all worked up. You have done your part and stay positive that all the rest will take care of itself. Please keep me posted on your progress! Best of luck to you!!! :-) 1 BigGirlPanties reacted to this
suznmarie 3 Posted May 6, 2014 My doctor does not require the pre open dieting. He said it doesn't really make a difference. My surgery is 8:30 tomorrow. I am a former band gone wrong! It's been 4years and I have gained all my weight back. Sleeve here I come! So excited! 1 Nevermind reacted to this
