jennynoblemiller 8 Posted May 4, 2014 Eleven days out, premenstrual as can be, and was just feeling so weak. I'm seeing my NUT and surgeon in two days to start soft food. Anyway, just faced in and ate a cheese stick in very tiny bites. I feel so much better! -Was that a terrible thing to do?
squeaker31 65 Posted May 4, 2014 I actually called the office and asked/begged to start food two days before my appointment too lol. They said cottage cheese and man that never tasted so good! Idk about medically but it seems every surgeon has different plans and some start food earlier. I think as long as you're tolerating it it's okay.
Losing in PA 26 Posted May 4, 2014 I ate them before time also. Just chewed it well. No problem
Teachamy 1,042 Posted May 4, 2014 cheese sticks were one of the first non-mushy foods I could consume. Very filling too. Sounds like you'll survive!
