That is an unusual symptom, you might discuss it with a doctor.... Probably nothing to worry about, but best to check to be sure.

. Web md lists a whole bunch of things that can cause burning feet. Check it out but def call a doc about it!

I would seek medical attention on that one. Doesn't sound like a typical sleeve side effect... I've heard of hot flashes and cold spells but burning feet...?

My feet used to burn up when I was having a hyperthyroidism flare, I would put a tub of cool Water in the room with me to stand in and cool off my feet. It was like my body heat was escaping through my foot bottoms. .. You might want to check your thyroid, are you on thyroid meds and have now lost weight? Or have ever had thyroid issues? (Sorry, on my phone, can't see your stats)

This was when I was in my twenties and had hyperthyroidism so bad they were taking about taking out some of my thyroid, 20 years later and my thyroid is hypo now...

Circulation issues can be caused by hormones. And rapid weight loss causes hormones to go crazy. But I would double check with the doctor next time you talk to him/her. I had a tingling in my feet that went off and on for about 2 weeks.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
