lecouch 16 Posted May 3, 2014 Had my surgery a couple of days ago and feeling fair. Still battling gas pains from the gas they used and also having intestinal gas. I have to be careful when I pass gas because I have had a few accidents (liquids in, liquids out). Not real hungry. I had list 17 lbs on my pre-op diet but feeling pretty bloated so not even going to get on scales for a bit. Very encouraged though.... 4 Bandista, Tracy Learmonth Shaw, chasingadream and 1 other reacted to this

Pinkbeauty 8 Posted May 4, 2014 I had my band done last Sunday 27th April on my 31st birthday!! I'm on the liquid diet the last 7 days I am finding it great but am feeling a lil weak!! I'm so happy I have found this site as I am so new to this change in lifestyle and haven't told any of my friends or family about the band only my hubby, mam and sister in law 1 BeagleLover reacted to this
lecouch 16 Posted May 4, 2014 Did anyone have any problems with temperature regulation after surgery? 3 days post-op. Last night I was up half the night. I would break out in a horrible sweat (soaked the bed and my gown) then chill real bad. It repeated all night long! Thinking that it may be from having iv's in hospital and only urinating a couple of times.... My body trying to get rid of fluids...
Pinkbeauty 8 Posted May 4, 2014 I haven't experienced anything like that!! I have felt very dizzy and faint think mine is down to sugar withdrawal!! I would ring your clinic and see what they say.
sansanx3 18 Posted May 5, 2014 Is your incisional site ok? May be your body reacting to something foreign in it. It should pass, but if you notice red or swollen incision sites and continued fever, I would notify my physician. Your incision will be slightly red and swollen after surgery and that is normal but it should start to get less and less as the days progress. I had a low grade temp for several evenings post op, but not like what you are describing. I am a nurse (24 years- ICU), so just pay attention and never feel like you can't let your doctor know about your concerns.
