5 days post op.. feeling drained...!

I don't know if I am doing things wrong.. or maybe not enough fluids however I feel so drained. I have no evergy.. please help what's going on?

I felt the same way. You will feel back to normal eventually. Just follow drs orders.

You are recovering from major surgery so please don't worry, it's normal. Keep sipping your fluids and, as teachingkids2004 says, follow doc's orders and you won't go wrong.

Look after yourself and rest - but keep sipping, this too will pass :-)))))

I am nearly two weeks post op. I promise you, I felt the same way. After the first week, you'll start feeling "human" again. I even went back to work because I was getting bored- a good sign! Hang in there!

Thank you guys. . I was regretting and starting to get depressed. All have made valid points. I thank you for the encouraging words. . THEY HELPED.
