sjidaho 30 Posted May 3, 2014 Any guys having plastics? I am still preop but I know from previous weight loses I look like a empty sack of potatoes when I am down. My clothes do not fit right, and exercising is annoying and embarrassing. Feels like i am still flapping and jiggling unless I wear a tight undershirt. Anybody's insurance pay for procedures around the abdomen? I really don't care about scarring. I take pride in all my scars. How bad did it hurt? Any other alternative than plastics? Thanks 1 kll724 reacted to this

SandyM 1,956 Posted May 4, 2014 A girl I work with told me our insurance will pay for Tummy Tuck if doctor documents chafing or other issues due to excess skin. I think it doesn't matter if you are male or female, if the excess skin bothers you, get it fixed. Guess you'l have to watch your weight loss and see if you bounce back into shape ok and even need it. I've lost 76 lbs and though I'm certainly not perfect, I'm not as bad as I thought I would be and won't consider surgery. Until then, find some workout clothes that will help control it so you aren't self concious.
PdxMan 4,292 Posted May 6, 2014 If you do a search for the member, ButterTheBean, you will find a bevy of threads relating to his plastics. He doesn't visit here often as he has moved on, but you can read all about him.
