gomekast 559 Posted May 2, 2014 At 4 months, my dietitians wanted me to be eating more real food. I was told 3 meals of real food, and no Snacks. If I hadn't met my Protein goal, then it was allowed 1 shake per day as a snack.< /p> They explained that at that point, it's critical to be strict because that was when people would stop following the basic rules and would not lose due to snacking all the time. So, I had to cut out all Snacks and completely change the way I ate. I'm so glad I did too...because it taught me that I need to always be on guard for sneaky old habits that try to immerse at any time. I am now 7 months post op on Tuesday, down 101 pounds, with 4 to go to meet surgeons goal and 24 for my own goal. Good luck n he rest of your journey. It's a bumpy ride. TheWigster 70 Posted May 2, 2014 I was advised no more than 2 healthy Snacks per day. More snacking will lead to over eating.
