Still happens to me after almost 2 years sometimes. I take liquid Colace and powdered Miralax. Both are prescriptions You are on liquids so it may not be hard for a while. My thoughts are when in doubt call your doctor. They know best. Good luck

post op Constipation is normal. results of pain meds and anesthesia that shut down your muscles and prevents normal functions. I used milk of magnesia and it worked like a charm. However, in all cases contact your surgeon and ask them.

I have had this issue off & on since my surgery. I use suppositories and it works right away but it's gross - what do you do? lol

Maybe try milk of magnesia? For me the min recommended dosage didn't help. It seemed to finally work when I took the upper limit of the dosage.

glycerin suppositories are VERY helpful... Best thing about them is they work right away and your privates won't be irritated afterwards. LoL

Try to hold the urge for at least 10 minutes, as you'll feel the need to GO almost instantly after inserting. Good luck pluggin'!!

When that sensation starts, I add miralax to my morning coffee. At first it took 5 days to work but I was good after that. Also., increase your Water. I take it you are on liquids. So why do people say liquid in, liquid out?

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
