Hey guys!! I went in for my 2nd fill today and found out that I have a 10 centimeter band but that it only holds 4cc's of saline!! I was like OHHHHH really? Anyway I have a total of 2.4 cc's in the band now (he gave me 0.9cc today). I can't really tell anything diff. but then again I'm just on liquids till Thur!! UGH This is the WORST part of getting a fill!! I am hungry STARVING all the time on liquids! So therefore I'm VERY grumpy!

GOOD NEWS I have officially lost 50lb!! I was sooooooo excited I did a happy dance on the scales!! LOL They just laughed at/with me! So I'm right on my goal of 10lb a month! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO

On the news, this very second, they are talking about how obesity can be attributed to a VIRUS!

As if I need something to blame other than myself! LOL That is NUTS!

I can't wait to see how/if this ever pans out. It is still in the infantile stages of research.

I also have the 10 cm - 4cc band. I had my second fill last thursday and have 2cc of omnipac in mine. i can tell a huge difference! some of that can be attributed to my entire first fill disappearing... so i went from zero to 2 cc's!

I'm still not sure exactly what restriction is... but my food options are soooo restricted now! If it's dry or bready or gums up.... it HURTS!!!!

stef you are so funny! where do you get your clip ons? I don't know if I would want a sonic cookie dough blast, does not sound so good to me, but they look good! We only have one new sonic in our area, I have been there once!

Oh honey! The Sonic Cookie Dough Blast is AWESOME! Of course, at just shy of 700 calories for the regular, I've only had one...and ate it over three days! LOL There are Sonics everywhere here. I've got a 15 and an 18 year old, and they love that place.

I've got Tony Little's BODY EXPRESS Body Fat Analyzer & Scale. It measures your weight by two tenths of a pound, and also give your body fat percentage and hydration percentage. It's about $50, and here's a link:

Hello all June 07 bandsters! I haven't gotten a fill. I have a hard enough time trying to eat. I would like one, but I just can't. No PBs, however, I know when I need to stop. I'll glad to see everyone is doing so well thus far. Here are a few before and during pics of me.

Well I had my 2nd fill yesterday, 2cc in 4cc band. I can't eat a thing hardly! I hope it loosens a tid bit! I still don't understand the mechanics of this I guess. It is supposed to tighten up so food takes longer to go through to the big stomach, but things get stuck and back up if it doesn't go through, but I thought it wasn't supposed to go through right away, ie: feeling full faster. I'm confused, you would think after all of this I would understand a little better.

I got my 2nd fill today. I have the small band and at my first fill they put in 2cc and I had absolutely no restriction. Today they saw there was about 1.6cc still in the band and they added more, so I now have 3cc. I'm on liquids for the next 24 hours. I can hear/feel a gurgling when I drink, so I hope I get some restriction this time.
