Debi Amador 120 Posted May 1, 2014 I am just over 6 weeks since my surgery. I went to the gym today, and yesterday, and both days I have had heartburn after walking on the treadmill. I am not walking too fast (about 2.5) and I don't know if it is a consequence or if exercising is causing my heartburn. Does anybody have any ideas about this? LumpySpacePrincess 594 Posted May 1, 2014 If you don't eat beforehand, you might experience extra acid churning around in your stomach. I only get heartburn when I don't eat anymore. 1 Alex Brecher reacted to this

I had severe heartburn whenever I ran or exercised. It was suggested that I run on a completely empty stomach. Totally changed my life
