doubletrouble 0 Posted April 12, 2007 The steri strips will fall off usually after a few days. If they do not fall off and start to look funky losen them up in the shower and they will come off. All the steri strips do is help keep the incision togther, however you have multiple sutures under the strips. Basicly all the steri strips do is help to give you smaller scar. I was banded 7 days ago, and still have them. I don't have the courage to take them off, I think is going to hurt :phanvanouch! and my post-op appt. is next week (Thursday, the 19).
