ap248 5 Posted April 30, 2014 Had my surgery on Monday (4/28). My first 24 hours were pretty sore and I experienced a lot of nausea. I got to come home last night. I am not sure if it is because I am home now, but wow I am feeling so much better. I am kind of afraid to drink too much, but am kind of just sipping away at my Water. I figure tomorrow morning I will start logging everything and trying to slowly push my Protein Shakes. James Marusek 5,244 Posted April 30, 2014 Congratulations. I had a RNY Gastric Bypass 11 months ago, and I remember the first few weeks were rough. There was so much complexity built into the meal plan, Protein supplements, medicine, Vitamins, Water intake, etc. But it does get better. I also used powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury chicken broth to help get my protein in because it has 20g of protein in each serving.
